Where Is the Course Held ?

The two day practical experience is held at Midlands Diving Chamber . The 15 man 22m³ Twin-lock Drager 220 facility in the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby  is an excellent site for the practical training. It is now the most centrally located Hyperbaric chamber in the UK. It’s 35 mins from Birmingham airport or 60 mins from London Luton Airport. MDC has an excellent website that can give you its location : MDC LOCATION

Certification

The course is run in compliance to IMCA D022 Standards

Blended E-Learning

The Chamber Operators  Course  Is 30 contact hours. 16 of these hours will be conducted via pre-course e-learning before the practical component. Actual chamber time will be 2 days and will be highly practically based.

All the e-learning is pre-recorded lessons / videos with interactive quizzes. It has proved popular. The student has access to the training platform & pdf  downloads from the point of booking & can chip away at it in leisurely fashion. It is designed to have a low digital weight so may be viewed easily with the poor offshore internet.

Students must bear in mind that the E-Learning element MUST be completed before course commencement. Courses book up really fast.
