Calculating a correct Percentage of gas and maintaining an adequate Partial Pressure of oxygen is essential in Life Support. EXAMPLE A chamber is at 105 msw and has a pO2 of 400 mbar, what is the O₂% ? % = ppO₂ x 100 ÷ AP = 0.400bar x 100 ÷ 11.5bar(a) = 3.47%
